Hey everybody-- I've got a new home! I'll be hanging with two young boys, Monty and Toby. There's also a cat, and she's pretty tough, so I will leave her alone. I get a big yard where I can chase my brothers around. I'm so happy to finally have a permanent home. I'm the oldest, so I get seniority... that means more toys for me!!!

Hi there! I thought I'd update everybody on how I'm doing.

I'm having a great time at the Guesthouse. Today I played in the yard with my foster siblings, Bruno and Bella. I looooove rolling around in the grass! It feels so good! Did I mention I was a champion racer and a mom before I retired? I just turned 9 years old, but I still like to run and play with the other greys.

Here's some updates about me:
I slept outside my crate for the first time last night without any problems.
I'm house trained.
I can do stairs without any trouble-- even wooden ones with just a small carpet tread.
When you rub my belly, my foot goes nuts! I can't help it, it feels so nice! My foster mom thinks it's hilarious.
I haven't even barked once since my arrival.
I passed another dog in the park today, and I just kept walking.

I hope somebody will decide to give me a permanent home soon! I'm a greyt catch!

Hi everybody! I'm San Tan Pella, Pella for short. I just checked in yesterday and so far, so good. I could get used to the home life!

Here's some information about me:

I'm a very chill girl... laid back and relaxed.
I'm not into whining or barking... so if you have thin walls or live in a condo, I would fit right in.
I like long walks, but I prefer them to be slow. I walk right next to my person without any drama.
I understand where I'm supposed to go potty.
I don't really mind if cats are around.

guess what, guys? i found the perfect home. my foster mom is now my mom! i can't stop smiling about it! she's already bought me a new harness, two collars, and a fancy new LL bean bed of my very own! i'm the luckiest girl around. :) :) :) :) :)

good morning everybody-- it's true, i'm a little bit nervous. but here's a video of me smiling!

my foster mom says i'm getting more affectionate every day. this morning while she was rubbing behind my ears, i stuck out my paw out to say "more, more!" i'm turning into a real love bug, she says. when she comes home, i always smile in that special greyhound way.

i'm still a little shy about eating. my foster mom makes sure my foster brother's not around. usually i get my food and treats in a separate room. he's not a bully but he forgets his manners sometimes.

bonjour, je m'appelle belle! actually my name is fanatic bella. i'm afraid of vampires, werewolves, cats, and people carrying objects in their hands. and my foster mom's afraid of anything that's trendy like the twilight vampire movie with the girl called bella. so she calls me belle! c'est magnifique!

i was really scared of everything at first, but i'm getting better! today my foster mom put her hand out to pet me, and i didn't lie down on the floor in a submissive position.

right now, my big foster brother bruno is my best buddy. he doesn't like sharing his bed, but he lets me do it anyway. this way i get to lie against the wall with him in front of me, protecting me from the scary big orange cat who sometimes hisses at me. (i don't like the cat but i leave him alone!).

did i mention i have a diamond on my head? sometimes she calls me "lady di" for diamond. i hope i can be a real princess someday!

hi everybody-- i found my forever home today and i can't wait to get to know my new family! i hear they have lots of squeaky toys for me to play with and a yard where i can chase after squirrels and stuffies. later!

Hi everybody-- Today my foster mom took me and my foster brother to her work and I got to meet lots of fun people! Work is awesome!!!! There are so many interesting people and smells!!! She is so lucky that she gets to hang out there!!!

We also posed for lots of pictures. We are going to appear in something called a "newsletter" for foster mom's work. They want to write all about greyhound rescue and adoption.

In other news, I got an owie. I jumped up and scraped my chest on a stone bench when I came down. I cried a little but mom told me to be a big boy. Bruises make me look tough. RARRR!!!! I'M A BIG TOUGH GREYHOUND!!!! RARRRR.... Did I scare you? Hee hee!

Casey: No problem. It's nice to sniff you.

GG: So, Casey. We hear you're up for adoption. How would you describe yourself?

C: I'm a ladies man. Also, I enjoy toys that squeak.

GG: Ladies, and squeaky toys. OK. What are you looking for in a forever home?

C: A nice lady that I can follow around. Someone who won't mind if I wait outside the bathroom door while she goes. Someone who won't leave me alone for too long. Lots of stuffies that I can squeak all day. And I would also like a frisbee.

GG: A frisbee? Do you chase frisbees?

C: Yes, I do.

GG: Do you fetch them?

C: Sometimes. If the mood strikes me.

GG: What should potential adopters know about you?

C: My foster mom calls me "Evel Knievel" because I like to jump down the stairs all at once. What can I say? Extreme sports are my thing. Oh, and I'm a champion walker. "One and done", my foster mom says.

GG: Good to know. Are you cat-friendly?

C: Every time I see them, they run away! I just want to say hello.

Hi y'all. Just had a delicious breakfast of kibble and I feel a nap coming on.

Just letting y'all know that I slept through the night on the fleece bed! Well, almost... I woke my foster mom up because I had to go potty. For some reason, she thinks that's awesome. She has also convinced me to stop barking at the cats. She says that the next project is getting me to walk next to her on the leash. Whatever, it all smells so interesting! I just can't get enough of the awesome smells!

Hi y'all. I just had breakfast and here's a quick note before naptime. These L.L. Bean beds sure are cozy, and I hope there's one waiting for me at my forever home. The fleece-top one is my favorite.

BTW, mom says I do a great cockroach impression. You can be the judge of that!

Hi y'all. It's me, Georgia Red. Just got in this morning! What a long drive!

Let me introduce myself... I am a cute red girl with a grey/black muzzle and ears. My fur is tweed, red with a little black mixed in. I have one of those tails that's always wagging! I love meeting people! Also, I have a lot of opinions and I like to express them. So if you are looking for a quiet flower, I may not be your type. This is embarrassing, but mom asked me to tell you that I have not had an accident in the house. I am not sure about these cat things. They don't seem to like when I sniff at them. But they smell so interesting! More on that later.

My brother Bruno and I went on a fun walk to the park and now it's time for a nap... more later!
